OTHER ITEMS IN THE CURRENT NEWSLETTER:

We have two new Life Members, one is from Ankeny, IA and the other is from Mason City, IA.

There are 10 new annual members to the Genealogical Society.

The Library will be closed for Labor Day on Monday September 6, but we will be open on Saturday September 4.

The ballot for election of officers and trustees is included with your mailed newsletter if you are a member.

We now have two new (to us) microfilm reader / printers that replace two that no longer printed.  These were a donation from a member.

The last afghan that we have for sale is shown on our homepage.  It is only $50.  It was donated by a member.

Our yard sale fund-raiser was held on Saturday July 10th (after a month of rain outs).
