QUERIES:
-----
Need information on James GROOM. His widow, Sara J. (TALKINGTON) GROOM is listed on the 1880 Mahaska County Census with her son George, widowed with one child, Addie, in the household.-----
Sophia TURNER born in 1833 in England, died in Beacon, Mahaska Co on 30 Jul 1889. Her daughter, Faith (TURNER) CARTWRIGHT born in England, died in Beacon, Mahaska Co on 4 May 1890. Obits say both buried in Beacon Cemetery, but Sextons records do not indicate. Any information would be helpful.-----
